WholeHealth Cooperative Offerings: (See our Facebook Page for ongoing posts!)
*Our building currently has a lovely professional office space for lease. If you or someone you know is looking for a comfortableoffice in a great setting come see us.
* Jen Hart and Amity Willis, a mother/daughter team, have recently moved into our building, bringing their healing massage skills to
community. We are very happy to have them join us here at the WholeHealth Cooperative.
* Rachel Andrews continues to offer her colon hydro-therapy services to community. We are very pleased to have her. This wonderful
health maintenance treatment is something we all should do on a regular basis. The first of each year is an excellent time to do some type of
fasting combined with colon hydro-therapy treatments. Highly recommended for cleansing and resetting the body. To contact Rachel for an
appointment call:530-5339.
* Special Yoga and Body Movement classes! We want to draw attention to several special yoga and body movements classes that are
occurring here in Pocatello. Molly Jorgensen teaches an exceptional mindful improv body movement class for the “mature” on Tuesday evenings and a
Somaflow yoga class on Saturday mornings. Family Services Alliance offers free yoga classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. See calendar for details.
*Our Open Community Healing Circle will occur May 7th and 21st from 6-8:30 in the main reception. This subtle energy healing circle has been enjoying
new “energy” and life with the addition of Colleen Broce and Jennifer Hart. We thank Grace Jacobson, Crete Brown, Kenny Balls and Leonid Hanan for their
ongoing volunteer energy healing offerings to our community. Please “like” our new Facebook page and consider coming to Healing Circle to experience nurturance
and energetic rebalancing from one of our trained subtle energy healers. Donation basis.
*May 11th we are sponsoring a free Transcendental Meditation talk at 7PM in our main reception. This will be an introduction to TM with the opportunity to sign up for a 4 lesson course in this transformative practice taught by Nola Nelson, certified TM teacher.
*May 17th we are sponsoring Brenda Hatch, MS, CRNA, owner of Snake River Aesthetics and Medi Spa. At 6:30 pm in our main reception area she will offer a free presentation on cutting edge, new, natural and non-surgical innovations in skin care utilizing your own platelet rich plasma. I’ve personally invited Brenda to talk about this because I am so impressed with this new technology and very much appreciate what she is doing for both men and women.
*Our Grandmother Lodge needs to be rebuilt. We are targeting May 19th for this event but cannot confirm this date until we have established that the new willows we need are ready for harvesting. Please check our face book page for the exact date. This is a community building and joyful event during which we harvest new willows in a sacred manner and then return to “plant” and bend the willows into our new lodge. All interested community members are invited. See attached flyer.
*On May 25th, we will have our 4th Friday Drum Circle and Coyote Market @ 6:00 pm in our wonderful side yard. These are fun, family friendly “jams” designed to find a groove, share food, laugh, release tensions and visit with old friends. Everyone is also invited to bring their arts and crafts items to barter or sell. Please bring a drum if you have one and food to share. No charge. See attachment for details.
* Please Note: Our community offers several diverse spiritual and religious venues for spiritual seekers. There are two separate Buddhist groups
that meet regularly. The Portneuf Sangha Meditation Center. Details @ https://www.portneufsangha.org/. Also, the Pocatello Buddhist Society
teaches secular Buddhism with Bill Haines. Details @ https://m.facebook.com/pocatellobuddhistsociety/. There is also the Pocatello Unitarian
Universalist Fellowship. This group is committed to social and environmental justice and embraces all religious traditions, races and gender identities.
